Learning Visits

Sheffield 14-19 Introductory Learning Visits Programme

Learning for Life is the city’s learning network and was established to better match the curriculum to the skills needs of the local economy and in anticipation of the proposed 14-19 reforms. In the last two years Learning for Life has created a city-wide 14-19 curriculum framework that has enabled more than 7,000 Key Stage 4 students to pursue at least one vocational qualification. Learning for Life is featured in the DfES 14-19 Implementation Plan.

Learning Visits will provide an opportuntiy to examine and discuss
- Sheffield’s 14-19 curriculum framework
- partnership working that delivers a coordinated 14-19 learning offer and pooled funding in support of this
