July 2008 - EIGHTH SHEFFIELD CAD/CAM EVENT
The 8th Sheffield & Rotherham CAD/CAM Event will be held in July 2008, and schools are invited to enter one team from each key stage.
The aim of the event is to showcase CAD/CAM activities that have taken place in schools. The format of the event will be the same as in previous years.
Students will be asked to make a 5 – 10 minute presentation of their CAD/CAM project to a panel of judges. This should include an explanation of design work and the final product. The product may be the result of a small team of students manufacturing the product, or it could be the work of a single student who is supported by peers at the presentation.
